Welcome!
A first look at the idea behind this site, and where I hope to take it.
Welcome to my first journal post.
I wanted to start by sharing why I built this site, what it brings together, and how I hope it will grow into something more than just, well, a site that I share my work on.
Over the holidays, I’ve had copious amounts of time to work on projects. One of these days, something clicked, and I went to bed thinking "I'm going to build a site that I can use to share all of my work with the world."
And so I did. And, after a week or so building, and more late nights than I'd like to admit, it's done. Thanks to me and my team, it's up and running.

Portfolio. Blog. Gallery.
This website is pretty self-explanatory, so I won’t bore you with the obvious. It’s a place where I can share the things I make, whether that’s music, photography, videography, writing (spoiler alert: that’s coming), or whatever else I end up getting myself into.
I also wanted it to feel a little different from most places online. No ads, no invasive tracking, no algorithms deciding what beach photo you should look at next. Just my work, presented properly, and hopefully, over time, it builds into a fairly good record of everything I’ve made

Some highlights from my recent trip to Phillip Island. You can see more in the gallery.
One More Thing...
Somewhere in the process of building this, I realised I wasn’t really just building one website anymore. Most of the site is designed to be flexible. The galleries, journal, projects, music and other parts of it can all change, without rebuilding everything around them. And eventually I started wondering what that could look like if someone else used it.
So, quietly, that’s become another project.
The idea is to turn some of what sits behind this site into a system other people could use to build their own space online, without every website ending up looking exactly the same. Now, it’s nowhere near ready yet, and I’m not really interested in pretending it is. But it’s something I’m working on, and I’ll probably end up writing more about it here, as the site develops further.
To be honest, I’m not sure where this site will be a year from now. Knowing my questionable work habits, it'll probably look wildly different, with a lot of new stuff in it.
But, that’s kinda the point. This site will grow along with me, as I grow, producing new music, writing new books, producing new videos, and so on, this website will grow with me, allowing me to share my work with all of you.
I just hope you stick around to enjoy it.
