Be Here

The EP

Be Here was a 2025 single I released under my old alias, b r e a t h e i n. It was written during the first session I had with my new microphone, and I recorded the demo vocals for the hook in about 15 minutes.

The rest of the song took a couple of months. I kept playing around with different productions, arrangements and ideas until it eventually became the version that was released. Looking back, I think it turned out pretty well for the first song I’d ever properly written.

The track itself came together really quickly and was based almost entirely on one feeling: longing. There wasn’t some huge concept behind it. I just started writing, and this is what came out.

It’s definitely not perfect, but I still have a soft spot for it, and I hope people enjoy listening to it.
